Pātaka gallery exhibition
A selection of photographs taken over the last 6 years during the production of MARIMARI film have been selected for a new exhibition hosted in Porirua, Wellington, New Zealand.
The photographs will be on display alongside a range of bilum (traditional string bags) woven by human rights defenders and sorcery accusation survivors.
The exhibition in Pātaka’s Toi Gallery (May 21 - Aug 4) features photographs of the survivors and the courageous women who support, counsel, and help to rehabilitate survivors. All the bilums in the exhibition will be for sale with all the proceeds going to help support the work of these human rights defenders.
